Step back into the nineteenth century and visit Disagården Open-Air Museum in Old Uppsala. Discover what life was like in rural Uppland during the latter half of the nineteenth century.
Disagården is an open-air museum depicting a traditional Uppland farming village with historic farmhouses and outbuildings, cultivated fields and gardens, and heritage-breed farm animals. On the edge of the museum stands a former soldier's croft, while goats graze on the nearby hillside. The buildings have been relocated from different parts of Uppland and, together with the open-air dance pavilion and summer café, provide a welcoming setting for exploration, learning and relaxation.
If you are planning to visit with a group or a school class, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance, even if you intend to explore the museum grounds on your own.
Free admission (every day except Midsummer Eve).
