Lilla Kvarn - childrens exhibition

Little Mill (Lilla kvarn)

Welcome to Little Mill (Lilla kvarn), Upplandsmuseet's interactive exhibition for children aged 0–6 years.

Inspired by historic environments from Uppland, Little Mill is a place where young children can play, explore and discover history through imagination. Visit the village shop, work in the blacksmith's forge, cook in a nineteenth-century farmhouse kitchen, climb through the little houses and peek behind doors and shutters to see what is happening inside.

Created by artists Sven Nordqvist and Leif Högström, Little Mill offers a safe and playful environment where everything is designed to be touched, explored and enjoyed by the museum's youngest visitors.
