Welcome to Upplandsmuseet, the county museum of Uppland, housed in one of Uppsala's best-known historic buildings. Through engaging permanent and temporary exhibitions, family activities and a varied programme of events, discover the history, culture and people of Uppsala and the wider region of Uppland. There is something to explore for visitors of all ages.

The museum is located in the listed eighteenth-century Academy Mill (Akademikvarnen) beside the River Fyris, just below Uppsala Cathedral. Milling has taken place on this site since the thirteenth century.
Visit our museum shop, featuring books, locally made crafts and souvenirs inspired by Uppland, or relax in the café on the ground floor.

Admission

Adults: SEK 150
Children and young people (0–19 years): Free admission
Students (19+): SEK 120
Pensioners: SEK 120

Annual Pass: SEK 280
Valid for one year from the date of purchase and includes admission to both Upplandsmuseet and Gamla Uppsala Museum.

Lilla kvarn (Little Mill): Included with museum admission.
Children have free admission. Advance booking is recommended.
Programmes and guided tours: Included with museum admission.
