Disagården depicts a traditional Uppland farming village with historic farmhouses, agricultural outbuildings, cultivated fields and gardens, and heritage-breed farm animals. On the edge of the museum stands a former soldier's croft, while goats graze on the nearby hillside. The buildings have been relocated from different parts of Uppland and, together with the open-air dance pavilion and summer café, provide a welcoming setting for exploration, learning and relaxation.

Throughout the summer, the museum offers daily activities including open historic houses, guided tours and family activities. All activities are free of charge.
