A Queer City Walk Beyond the Norm: Upsala, Darling
Foto: Katja Jahn, Upplandsmuseet.
Join us for a thought-provoking LGBTQ-themed city walk in central Uppsala, led by museum educator Stina Flink. Together, we’ll explore the city’s hidden stories—those often left out of the traditional narrative.
People who have challenged norms around gender and sexuality have always existed. Their traces are there, but sometimes harder to find. What happens when we view Uppsala through a different lens? Which places and stories come into focus?
📍 Meeting point: South entrance of Uppsala Cathedral (Riddartorget)
⏱️ Duration: approx. 75 minutes
👥 Limited spots: max 20 participants
🎟️ Tickets: SEK 50, available from late April
Welcome to a city walk that reveals new layers of history.
