Welcome to a vivid journey into the past, right in the center of Uppsala!

Step straight into 19th-century Uppsala and discover a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The Professor’s Home offers a glimpse into upper-middle-class life, where time seems to have stood still for over 150 years.

Copper pots gleam and delicate beadwork decorates the rooms—yet modern comforts like running water and indoor plumbing are nowhere to be found. This apartment is a carefully recreated version of the home once rented by the Rydin family from the 1860s, offering a rare chance to experience everyday life of the past.

📍 Starting point: outside the entrance, Sysslomansgatan 1

🎟️Tickets are free but must be reserved through Billetto; a link will be available in late April.

⏱️ Duration: approx. 45 minutes
