Upplandsmuseet is the county museum for Uppsala county. The museum has a new exhibition about the history of Uppsala County.Experience life in the county for the past 7,000 years!

Exhibitions and programs
The museum has permanent exhibitions which describe the history of the province of Uppland over a period of 5,000 years. There are also topical exhibitions on a range of subjects, with both an Uppland focus and a global perspective.

Free entry for children/youth 0–19 years
Annual pass: SEK 280 SEK, valid for both the Upplands Museum and the Old Uppsala Museum throughout 2025.
Museum shop and Café
In the entrance hall, you will find the museum shop, which stocks a wide range of Uppland speciality products. Here you will find genuine craft items and quality souvenirs inspired by objects from our collections. Feeling thirsty? Then why not visit our museum café! In summer, you can also relax in our beautiful courtyard.
Accessibility
Disabled parking is provided in the museum courtyard. We have automatic entrance doors, a lift and a isabled toilet, as well as baby changing facilities. An audio induction loop is available in the auditorium. Portable aids and wheelchairs are available for use.
Parking
There are several chargeable parking spaces quite close to the museum. There are also designated spaces for coaches at St. Eriks torg.
