Welcome to the most exciting festival of the year and the museum’s biggest event of 2025! Meet the ancestors of the Vikings as the Vendel Age (550-800 AD) returns to Gamla Uppsala! We’ll be joined by historical reenactors from all over Europe, showcasing clothing and equipment from the Vendel Period, when Gamla Uppsala was at the height of its power. This is something you don’t want to miss!

The event is included in the museum's regular admission, which is 150:- for adults, 120:- for pensioners/students and free for children accompanied by a guardian.
